Free GMAT Practice Test

“Veritas Prep’s computer adaptive practice tests really hit the bull’s-eye. My mean, median, and mode scores on the practice tests were all 710. My actual GMAT score? A 710! The practice tests were more authentic and accurate than any others I took and, without a doubt, an integral part of my GMAT preparation.”
- Lisa Horii

How many GMAT practice tests do I get?
You get two complete practice test with score reports and performance analysis for free. Once you have registered for your free practice test, you will have the option to buy five additional tests for $49. Veritas Prep GMAT course students get access to these computer-adaptive tests and more. Learn more about our GMAT course options.

What’s included with each practice test?
Just like you do on the real test, you get one AWA, 12 Integrated Reasoning, 37 Quant, and 41 Verbal questions. In addition, you get to review every test and every question once you’ve completed the test. As part of that review, you get detailed solutions to every question, pacing analysis, raw Quant and Verbal scores, total overall score, data on how you performed vs. other students, and more.

What else is included when I register?
In addition to the free GMAT practice test, you also gain access to Veritas Prep’s GMAT Question Bank, which holds hundreds of additional realistic free GMAT practice questions.

Why do I need to set a password?
Your password allows you to log in at any time and review any GMAT practice tests you have completed, resume tests you have paused, and track your progress over time.

I already registered. How do I resume my practice test and access my results?
From this page or any other page of the Veritas Prep site, you can use the “Login” link in the top right corner to access your account. Also use that link if you forgot your password and need help accessing your account.

How long will I have access to my practice tests?
You have one full year (365 days) of access from the time you sign up for a free practice test or purchase full access to the tests.

Can I have extended time on the test?
Yes. Each time you start a Veritas Prep GMAT practice test, you have the option of taking it with the normal amount of time, 50% extra time, or 100% additional time. You may also choose to skip the AWA and Integrated Reasoning sections of each practice test.

How close to the real test are these GMAT practice tests?
Veritas Prep designed its practice tests to simulate the official GMAT as closely as possible, both in terms of question quality and how the computer-adaptive algorithm determines your ability level and chooses which questions you see. Our GMAT practice tests draw from a pool of hundreds of realistic GMAT questions, each of which is measured on multiple attributes that go far deeper than simply “easy / medium / hard.” Given the adaptive nature of our practice tests, no two test instances will be exactly the same.

What kind of data goes into these tests to make sure they’re accurate?
Every one of our GMAT questions must be validated across thousands of responses from hundreds of students before it is added to a Veritas Prep GMAT practice exam. Veritas Prep has collected more than one million responses from tens of thousands of GMAT students, via both the GMAT Question Bank and by using experimental questions in our computer-adaptive tests (just as the real GMAT collects data). In fact, Veritas Prep collects more than 50,000 new responses each week! Each item is not just validated once, but is constantly recalibrated based on new data. Veritas Prep also regularly measures its practice tests’ scores against the Official GMAT by collecting student feedback, ensuring that its practice exam scores are very close to those generated by the real test.

Where do the questions in these tests come from?
Every question in our GMAT practice tests was written by experienced Veritas Prep GMAT instructors. They have been designed to measure students’ higher-order thinking skills in the same way official GMAT questions do. Each question is administered to thousands of GMAT students in our GMAT Question Bank and is confirmed as a valid item before being used in a Veritas Prep practice test.

Will I see the same question more than once?
Once you answer a question, Veritas Prep’s practice test system knows that you have answered it, and you will not see the question again. As long as you use the same account, you will never see the same question twice. You will always be able to go back and review your performance on past tests and questions.

Can I reset my GMAT practice tests once I have completed them?
You are not able to reset these tests. In order to ensure the validity of the data in our computer-adaptive testing system, we make sure that each student only sees each question once, meaning that test resets are not possible at this time.

Where do I begin if I am just getting started with my GMAT prep?
You’re in the right place! In addition to signing up for our free practice test, take a look around our site. We have compiled many GMAT resources, including our blog and a comprehensive list of everything you should know about the GMAT.
