ISEE Classes Near Me

Have you been wondering if an ISEE class would help your student as they prepare to take their level of the test? You’ve come to the right place. Veritas Prep can guide your student through online test prep opportunities that can allow them the time they need to build their testing and study skills. You can learn more about our ISEE classes by contacting one of our academic advisors!

The ISEE is offered to students from elementary to high school. It allows private and independent schools to determine which applicants are most suited for their coursework, which may be just the motivation your student needs to study hard before the test. ISEE Primary 2, taken by second-grade students, is a 53-minute exam. There are four sections: Auditory Comprehension, Math, Reading, and Writing. Third-grade students take the ISEE Primary, which covers Reading, Math, and Writing. It takes 54 minutes to complete the test. ISEE Primary 4 is a fourth-grade exam that follows the same format as the previous. Students have an hour to complete the ISEE Primary 4. The Writing section on all three is untimed and based on a picture prompt.

The ISEE Lower Level is provided for students in fifth and sixth grade. It contains sections in Mathematics Achievement, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Essay. Students have two hours and 20 minutes. The ISEE Middle Level, which is for seventh and eighth-grade students, and the ISEE Upper Level for high school students follow a similar format. However, they each allow students two hours and 40 minutes to work through the problems.

Students taking ISEE classes can be supported as they work to review the concepts covered in their level of the exam. They can take the time to explore the material covered on the test, whether they’re building their writing skills for the Essay prompt or practicing math concepts. This exam assesses how well a student understands the material they’ve learned, making it vital that they work to strengthen their knowledge of each concept. Your student can practice their ability to use word clues, identify keywords, draw conclusions based on evidence, and more for the ISEE Lower Level exam.
