Work with the world's foremost experts

Our team of GMAT instructors have all scored in the top 1% of all test-takers on the official GMAT exam, so they know what it takes to achieve the score you need to get into your dream school.

If you’re preparing to apply for admission to a graduate management program and to pursue a degree such as an MBA, you may want to take the GMAT. This exam is used to assess the primary skills that indicate your readiness for the classes that lie ahead, and it’s one of the items admissions committees use to evaluate applicants. Naturally, you’ll want to earn as high a score as possible on this vital exam. Veritas Prep can help you find GMAT tutoring with an expert who knows how to prepare you for the exam successfully. We can connect you with a tutor who has taken the exam and scored in the 99th percentile.

The customized, dynamic strategies used by your private GMAT tutor can give you a leg up as you work toward your goal score. One-on-one online GMAT tutoring provides you with an opportunity to have lessons that focus specifically on your most prominent areas of need. As you make progress with your tutor and your needs evolve, a tutor can adjust the focus of your lessons in real time. Rather than putting equal effort into each test section or covering all of the concepts the exam assesses, your tutor can monitor your progress and ensure that you're always going after your best opportunities to improve your score.

Successful completion of the GMAT exam puts you in a better position to apply to top business management schools. The full test takes about 3.5 hours to complete, allowing you two optional breaks during testing. An experienced GMAT tutor can provide you with practice tests that mimic the conditions of the real exam. Building familiarity with the GMAT can lessen any anxiety on test day by making the whole process more familiar to you.

The GMAT itself consists of four sections: the Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning. With the help of expert GMAT tutoring, you can get the right amount of assistance for each section.

THE GMAT ANALYTICAL WRITING ASSESSMENT:  For the Analytical Writing assessment, you’ll answer one question in 30 minutes to demonstrate your critical thinking and argument presentation skills. A tutor can help you work through multiple hypothetical situations so that you have a handle on what you might encounter on test day and how you could structure your responses.

THE GMAT INTEGRATED REASONING SECTION:  For the Integrated Reasoning section, you have 30 minutes to complete 12 questions that prove your ability to evaluate information and to analyze data presented in various formats, such as graphic representations, tables and charts, and more. Your tutor can help you build familiarity with this section and help you develop strategies for the types of questions you are likely to face. Your tutor can also help you develop time management strategies to ensure you are always working toward your maximum possible score.

THE GMAT QUANTITATIVE REASONING SECTION:  For the Quantitative Reasoning section, you have 62 minutes to complete 31 questions that assess your data sufficiency and problem-solving skills. A tutor can provide you with practice, provide feedback in real time, and help you know what to expect during this section of the test so that you can approach it with confidence.

THE GMAT VERBAL REASONING SECTION:  For the Verbal Reasoning section, you have 65 minutes to answer 36 questions that gauge your abilities in reading comprehension, sentence correction, and critical reasoning. Your GMAT tutor can provide you with ample opportunities to answer practice questions, strategize, and develop an effective plan for facing this section of the test.

GMAT COMPUTER-ADAPTIVE TESTING:  Two sections - Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning - appear in a computer adaptive format. Based on your answer to each question, the software will determine which question to ask next. If you continue answering questions correctly, they’ll gradually get more difficult. This approach provides a more precise measure of your potential. Your GMAT tutor can help you face this live feedback system and develop confidence in your abilities so that you perform at your best on exam day.
