The ACT is an important part of a student’s application to colleges and universities. Because the ACT covers such a wide range of academic subjects, including Writing, Reading, Math, and Science, it can be a challenging test to prepare for. The timed nature of each section of the test can also add difficulty. Fortunately, there is a program that provides students with everything they need to know to conquer the ACT in an efficient way. Veritas Prep’s ACT On Demand is a convenient way to self-study with expert instructors and an array of study tools.
Why ACT On-Demand Services? The ACT is a high-stakes exam, important in the college admissions process. To succeed, students need to master a great many skills, many of which they may not have studied since middle school or their freshman year. ACT On Demand provides students with engaging, effective study videos taught by instructors who not only scored in the 99th percentile on the official ACT, but also wrote the Veritas Prep lesson books themselves. Each video lesson is presented in HD streaming video available on both desktop and mobile, and each lesson is broken into small sections so that students can study between activities in small chunks if they want, or in longer doses when they have time to dedicate to fully-focused ACT prep.
Additionally, whether choosing SAT on-demand or ACT on-demand offerings, you’ll have access to a host of online learning materials. What’s on the ACT? The ACT has five sections:
- English
- Math
- Reading
- Science
- And an optional Writing section
The four required sections are multiple-choice, and each earns a score ranging from 1 to 36. The test’s Writing section receives a score on a scale from 2 to 12. Students get a slightly shorter amount of time to finish the ACT than to finish the SAT considering its 3 hour and 35-minute time limit (if you include the Writing section). On-demand ACT prep tools allow you to learn about each section on the exam, work through examples, develop strategies to help you answer questions accurately, and more.
