Section 1: GMAT Classes
Delivery of Veritas Prep Course Materials
Veritas Prep will ship out course materials upon registration, but no more than six weeks prior to the start of the course, to those students who have paid the full balance of the course tuition. Once Veritas Prep ships the materials, each student will receive a confirmation email from FedEx containing the tracking number for the shipment. In the unlikely event that a student has not received the FedEx confirmation email one week prior to the start of the course, the student should contact the Veritas Prep office immediately. Veritas Prep is not responsible for late shipments or lost packages. Veritas Prep is not responsible for problematic deliveries. If a student loses any portion of his materials at any time, the student may purchase that portion at the rate of $30.00 per item, plus the cost of shipping.

Course Times, Locations and Instructors
All course times, locations and instructors are subject to change at any time. Students will be notified of any and all changes made to the course via an email sent to the email address provided during registration. Students should check their account frequently prior to the start of the class. Veritas Prep is not responsible for any student that does not know the time or location of his class.

Course Payment
Once a student has registered by placing a $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit, the student can pay the remaining amount through TrueTrack. If a student has not paid the entire tuition two weeks prior to the start of his class, Veritas Prep has permission to charge the remaining balance to the credit card on file. If a student has not paid the entire tuition one week prior to the start of his class for any reason other than a fault of Veritas Prep, the student will be assessed a $50.00 late fee.

Refund Policy
If a student cancels his registration prior to the first day of class, the $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit included in the price of every course is nonrefundable. Additionally, if the student has opened and used the course materials, the regular book price of $450.00, or its foreign currency equivalent (available at The GMAT Store) is nonrefundable.

Provided that the course materials are returned in the original packaging, the refund will be prorated for up to 60% of the course based on the refund schedule provided below.

Course registrations are non-transferable.

Students selecting the Veritas On Demand™ service are purchasing a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use Veritas Prep’s proprietary information for a period of six-months and thus, no refund is available for this service.

Class Make-Up Policy
Veritas Prep offers five options to students enrolled in a course who are unable to attend one or more days of class. Veritas Prep will not grant any type of refund to a student that misses class, but encourages each student to utilize one of the following options:

1) Veritas Prep offers all its classes as complete online audio/visual presentations through Veritas On Demand™. These lessons are made available to Veritas Prep students free of charge and students are encouraged to review them whether they attended class or not.

2) Veritas Prep offers its full courses on corresponding schedules in over 50 cities worldwide. If a student misses class due to travel obligations, and is traveling to one of the other cities in which Veritas Prep holds classes on the same schedule, the student is welcome to attend class in the alternate location. However, the student must contact Veritas Prep to make sure there is availability in the desired alternate course location before attending.

3) Veritas Prep offers discounted private tutoring to current Veritas Prep classroom students. Students find that one hour of private tutoring is the equivalent to approximately one full class session (usually three hours), but students are welcome to sign up for as many hours as they see fit.

4) Veritas Prep offers telephonic tutoring and self-study. Students may choose to review the missed lesson on their own using the live, toll-free, instructor manned Support Line, or by utilizing the 24-hour email support.

5) Students who are in no rush to take the GMAT® can always repeat the classes in a future Veritas Prep course.

Returning Student Policy
All Veritas Prep students are allowed to retake one course for free. The retake course must be of equal or lesser value than that of the original course. Free retake eligibility lasts for six months from the start date of the student's original course. Students can retake the course after expiration of the six-month eligibility period for 50% of the course price. In addition, students can enjoy a second retake for 50% of the course price. All students are eligible and need not provide a reason for the retake. Students must seek enrollment in a retake course more than 1 week before the course begins or a $50 late fee will be assessed. Virtual Veritas™ students may not attend in-person classes and students attending in-person classes may not attend virtual classes. New materials will not be provided for the second course, but may be purchased by the student at the discounted price of $200.00, or the foreign currency equivalent. This payment must be made in full before the materials will be distributed. Students in the United States must allow 5-7 business days to receive materials. International students must allow 10-12 business days to receive materials. Expedited shipping is also available.

Money Back Guarantee

If a student takes a Veritas Prep Full Course and his score does not improve, Veritas Prep will refund the student’s entire tuition or the student may repeat the course free of charge. To invoke the guarantee, the student must have enrolled in a Veritas Prep Full Course that began on or after October 16, 2006. If the student’s results on an actual GMAT® examination are not higher than the score from a student’s previous official GMAT® examination, the student may repeat a Veritas Prep course of equal or lesser value or have the entire tuition refunded. To be eligible for the refund, the student must provide official copies of his GMAT® Score Report to Veritas Prep within 90 days of the conclusion of the Full Course.

Section 2: GMAT Private Tutoring
Private Tutoring Payment and Use Policy
In order to receive Veritas Prep materials and make arrangements with a Veritas Prep instructor, private tutoring students must pay an initial $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit. This deposit is non-refundable. Private tutoring students must pay the total remaining balance prior to the start of the second hour of tutoring. If the student completes the second hour before paying the entire remaining balance, Veritas Prep has permission to charge the remaining balance to the credit card on file. No portion of the remaining balance is refundable, even if the student does not complete the total number of hours originally purchased.

If a student is unable to attend a scheduled tutoring session, the student must give notice to the instructor 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting date. Late notice will result in the loss of one hour of tutoring. If a student fails to show up to a scheduled tutoring session without giving notice, the student will be charged for two hours of tutoring.

Section 3: Admissions Consulting
Outstanding Payment
Once a client has registered and placed a $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit, Veritas Prep will respond by providing the Client Questionnaire. The client must complete the Client Questionnaire and submit it to Veritas Prep for review in order to initiate a consulting engagement. A Veritas Prep consultant will then contact the client to schedule an Initial Consultation (a 30-60 minute conversation designed to reveal details about the client’s history and goals). The client must pay any outstanding balance before proceeding beyond the Initial Consultation. Should a client choose to work with the assigned consultant beyond the Initial Consultation but prior to paying the outstanding balance, Veritas Prep has permission to charge the client the remaining amount plus a $50.00 late fee. The client may pay the outstanding balance by replying to the registration email and authorizing an additional charge, or by calling Veritas Prep to pay the outstanding balance.

Refund Policy
The $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit included in the price of all Hourly Admissions Consulting engagements is nonrefundable. If a client decides to cancel the consulting service after the Initial Consultation, the client will be refunded in full, less the $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit. Clients seeking a refund after moving forward with an hourly package are responsible for paying the $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit as well as all time spent by the consultant following the Initial Consultation, at the Hourly Admissions Consulting rate.

The $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit included in the price of all Comprehensive Admissions Consulting Packages is non-refundable. If a client does not wish to move forward with the consulting service after the Initial Consultation, the client will be refunded in full, less the $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit. Clients seeking a refund after moving forward with a comprehensive package, but before a Personalized MBA Game Plan™ is generated, are responsible for paying the $200.00 ($200.00 CAN, £200.00) deposit as well as all time spent by the consultant following the Initial Consultation, at the Hourly Admissions Consulting rate. Clients wishing to cancel after production of the Personalized MBA Game Plan™, but prior to the initiation of any additional consulting work connected to the first school in the comprehensive package, are eligible for a 50% refund. Clients wishing to cancel any multi-school package(2-School Package or greater) or downgrade to a multi-school package comprised of fewer schools after initiating the first draft of any essay within an application essay set for the first school will be eligible to receive 20% of the original package price as a refund. Clients wishing to cancel a 1-School Package after initiating the first draft of any essay within an application essay set will not be eligible for a refund. Clients wishing to change from a comprehensive package to an hourly package will have their request treated as a cancellation and will be subject to the refund terms stated within this policy.

Clients receiving essay and resume editing services are not eligible for a refund once the materials have been submitted.

If a customer cancels an individual component of an Elite Package before starting to use that portion of the package, Veritas Prep will refund the difference between the Elite Package price and the a la carte price of the non-canceled component(s), less a $100.00 ($100.00 CAN, £100.00) cancellation fee.

Consulting registrations are non-transferable.

Section 4: Materials

Customers may also order the Veritas On Demand™ service as a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use Veritas Prep’s proprietary information for a period of six-months, with the inclusion of Veritas Prep materials. For either purchase, customers in the United States must allow 5-7 business days to receive materials. International customers must wait 10-12 business days to receive materials. Section 5: General
Terms of Use
Unless otherwise specified, all materials a customer receives from Veritas Prep are for personal and non-commercial use. No customer may modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, products or services obtained from Veritas Prep without explicit, prior written permission.

Force Majeure
Neither Veritas Prep nor the customer shall be liable for any failure, cancellation or delay in performance (other than for delay in the payment of money due and payable) to the extent said failures, cancellations or delays are proximately caused by forces beyond that party's reasonable control and occurring without its fault or negligence, including, but not limited to, the failure of suppliers, subcontractors, and carriers.
