What Are Your Chances of Getting in to a Top Business
School?
The Business School Selector models an applicant’s
prospects of entering the top 25 U.S. business school
programs as defined by Veritas Prep's own proprietary
model. It serves to help answer the question on
every b-school applicant’s mind: “What
are my chances of getting in?”
This beta model provides a range of optimal programs
based on a limited set of applicant credentials.
By “optimal,” we mean that these are
the highest-ranked schools to which the applicant
has a reasonable chance of getting accepted. Use
the range of schools at the bottom of this page
as a way to start narrowing your choice of schools.
It’s important to keep in mind that the admissions
process is highly subjective – no one model
can serve as an “oracle” or “magic
eight ball.” The Veritas Prep Business School
Selector is not an exercise in statistical validity,
but rather, a fun tool that will help you assess
your chances of getting into the top 25 business
schools in the United States. Not to mention, it’s
continually evolving based on community feedback.
So please make sure to give us your input and opinion.
Statistical data used is, in part, from the 2007
US News Best Graduate Schools issue. The school
ranking order is based on Veritas Prep’s own
criteria and weighting system, with special emphasis
on specific statistics that we have seen to be most
critical in determining an applicant’s chances
of admissions success.
Again, please keep in mind that this is a beta
version. The model may not be perfect. We have opened
up the tool to the MBA admissions community to make
it more robust over time. We will continue to improve
this model by adding even more useful criteria to
help you find the right MBA program.
