Employment & Careers at Yale: Similar Programs

Dartmouth (Tuck). Tuck sent 25% of its class into the finance industry last year, almost the same as Yale’s placement in this sector. Most people don’t think of Yale or Tuck as “finance schools,” but they both have strong reputations in the industry. With its strong general management emphasis, Tuck also sends a large percentage (18%) of its class into general management roles.

Admissions: The Interview

How many applicants are interviewed? Similar to many elite business schools, SOM grants interviews on an invitation-only basis. However, with just a third or fewer of applicants interviewed, simply receiving an invitation is a strong signal of the admission committee’s interest. Of those interviewed, more than half receive an offer of admission.
