GMAT Course Palo Alto Instructor

Accomplished
The Veritas Prep GMAT faculty is a select group. They have previous teaching experience as former Harvard and MIT professors, scientists, high school teachers, debate stars, and political strategists. In addition, every Veritas Prep GMAT instructor has scored in the 99th percentile on an actual GMAT exam. Most instructors have several years in front of the classroom, and all have passed a rigorous screening process to ensure they have the ability to inspire Veritas Prep's students.

Engaging and Passionate
A high GMAT score alone does not make someone a terrific instructor, which is why Veritas Prep scrutinizes instructor applicants for their ability to convey their knowledge to others in a dynamic and engaging way. After a successful initial interview, only applicants who demonstrate an impressive grasp of the GMAT -- and an ability to passionately teach others -- are invited for either an in-person or live video audition. After successfully completing this stage, applicants are invited to begin the Veritas Prep training and evaluation process, and it is only after successfully completing this phase (including serving as a teaching assistant for at least one full course) that an applicant is eligible to teach a Veritas Prep course.

Most Comprehensive Training
Before they earn the right to lead a Veritas Prep classroom, all Veritas Prep GMAT instructors must complete Veritas Prep 101™, the most comprehensive certification program in the industry. New Veritas Prep instructors must first work through the entire Veritas Prep curriculum to achieve mastery of the material. Then, each new instructor serves as a teaching assistant for an entire Veritas Prep GMAT course with a veteran instructor. After this phase is complete, instructors are assessed on their overall effectiveness, and it is then determined if they will be invited to teach for Veritas Prep.

Continued Evaluation
Every Veritas Prep instructor is obsessed with two scores: The score you earn on your GMAT exam and the score you give your instructor at the end of your Veritas Prep GMAT prep course. Veritas Prep uses this feedback to ensure that its instructor standards remain the highest in the industry. While it rarely happens, instructors who do not meet these high standards are not invited to continue teaching. Additionally, all instructors, including those with high student evaluation scores, regularly complete ongoing training to stay current on the most up-to-date GMAT content.

Veritas Prep employs hundreds of GMAT tutors and instructors around the world.
