Number 21, page 6.

Question: Each of the following, if true, weakens the conclusion above EXCEPT:

So shouldn't the correct answer choice be something that would strengthen the conclusion? The correct answer is weaken. Please explain.

It is a weaken question. We are being asked to identify four answer choices that weaken the argument and one that does not (the correct answer choice). This correct choice may or may not strengthen the conclusion.
