'sunk' vs 'sunken'

Are they interchangeable in these phrases?

1.
In what war was the first ship sunken/sunk by a submarine?

2.
The commander won't rule out the ship sunken/sunk by the pirates.

3.
The feeling has finally sunken/sunk in.

I'd say yes to all three above, thanks.
