I need help with the following question:

If (1/5)^m (1/4)^18 = 1/2(10)^35, then m=

(1/5)^m (1/4)^18 = 1 / ( 2(10)^35 )

2(10)^35 = 5 ^m * 4^18

2(10)^35 = 5 ^m * (2^2) ^18

2(10)^35 = 5 ^m * (2^36)

(10)^35 = 5 ^m * (2^35)

2^35 * 5^35 = 5^m * 2^35

5^35 = 5^m

m = 35

How did you get from

2(10)^35 = 5 ^m * (2^36)

to

(10)^35 = 5 ^m * (2^35)

??

divide both sides by 2

(2 ^36)/2 = 2^35
