I need help with this question. I'm having a problem figuring out what to do when I have reduced the fractions and I'm trying to get the reciprocal of the 10^-7....
Here's how I worked the problem out:
900/.00005 x .25/.03 =
3x3 x10^2/ 5x10^5 multiplied by 5x5x 10^-2/3x 10^-2 after reducing I'm left with: 3x5 x10^2 (+)-2/ 10^-5-2
the issue I'm running into is when I add the positive 2 and negative 2, I'm left with 10^0,which should be 1.
I'm also not sure what to do with the 10^-7... I know I'm supposed to take the reciprocal and do the opposite sign... which would leave me with:
3x5 x 1 (the 1 comes from the 10^0) x 10^7/1= which would leave me with 150,000,000.
I know this is wrong based off the answer on the On demand guide...I just needhelp in figuring out where my logic is wrong.
Thanks in advance.
