Hello Help Staff,

My name is Binny, from Brisbane Australia. I am new to Veritas Prep, enrolled today; in the Tuesday and Thursday classes starting from the 6th of April 2010. It would be Wednesday and Friday here in OZ. I am not sure if I will receive my prep pack for the first class.

I was asked to introduce myself, could not find the forum in relation to that. I hope I am not SPAMING the forum place by starting this thread.

Hope to see other students in the class introduce as well.

Cheers,
Binny

Hi,

I'm Nashvegas. I just enrolled in the online on-demand class and read the suggestion in the intro to introduce myself to the homework staff as well but did not see another topic on the board exclusively for that purpose so thanks binny. I just received all of my books and am looking forward to tackling this info along with the rest of you. I wish you all the best of luck.

Thanks,
Nashvegas

Hi,
my name is FFM from Frankfurt am Main in Germany. I just registered for the complete course over the two next weekends, since there are no intensive 1-week course offered in europe except London.

I already took the GMAT 2 years ago, my quant score was 29 with percentile 26 (pretty bad), and my verbal score was 30 with percentile 57 (quite better). Overall my score was 500. I target a 650 this time and I think it will come if I power up the quant score, also to have the overall score better balanced.

What I hope from you, dear Helpers, is to give me the good advice when needed to improve the quant score and be patient with my poor no mathematical brain. Also, I think clear explanations will be a great help in the challenge!

So thank you very much in advance and cheers!

FFM

Welcome, everyone - it's great to see such an international community here! FFM, I'm actually traveling from Los Angeles to teach one of those London Intensive Courses, so I'm sorry I won't have a chance to work with you there, but we certainly look forward to working with you through the forum here and obviously in our class.

Please keep the questions coming in this space so that we can help - best of luck to all of you as you prepare for a successful GMAT!

Cheers,
Brian

My name is Giso, I am from New York City.

I am a first time GMAT taker, I am bit scared about the test, I have not practice math in a couple of years since high school and a bit in college.

I am seeking to achieve a HIGH score just like the comments that I read about Veritas Prep! I want to be one of Veritas High Achiever!

I will seek a lot of homework help. I am taking Veritas Online since I have a five months old child, first-time full-time working mom. Otherwise, I would have gone in person.

I will start my Veritas Classes on Saturday, May 29, 2010. I have receive my books. I am happy.

I am glad that I get homework help.

Hello Homework Help:

I am Kenneth W. I look forward to working with you all. First Question: Is homework assigned by the instructor or whatever isnt completed in the book for that class is considered homework?

Hi Kenneth,

You should complete all of the problems in the corresponding book following each class.

Hi Sameer,

Welcome to the Veritas Prep Forum!

We have quite a few resources available to you if you miss a class. You can access all of the self-study lessons in your online TrueTrack account, including the first lesson. Additionally, there is phone support available (you can find the hours and phone number in your TrueTrack account) and of course, please feel free to post any questions you have here in the forum.

We look forward to working with you and if you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to use the forum or call us at 800.925.7737.

Best,
Marisa
