Hello,

I really like the Veritas method of completing the AWA portion of the GMAT. Unfortunately, the book only includes two example essays written using the Veritas method for AWA. Are there more examples posted somewhere?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks! We're pretty pleased with the strategy, as well - over the past two weeks or so I've gotten thank-you notes from international students who used the AWA strategy to score a 6.0 and a 5.5, exceeding both of their expectations by quite a bit!

While we only have two fully-written essays in that book, we also include a template for each, which you can apply to write your own essay on any topic. And through TrueTrack, you can submit one of each type of essay to have your own essays graded and commented upon.

Cheers,
Brian

Hi Brian,

As you mentioned "And through TrueTrack, you can submit one of each type of essay to have your own essays graded and commented upon."

--> Only one of each type of essay will be graded and commented? I intend to write 2 essays/week and wish to have instructor's review on them during my in-class course.

Thanks & Rgds,
Chi

Hi Chi,

Thanks for your message. That is correct, through TrueTrack, you can submit one of each type of essay to have your own essays graded and commented upon. The best way to have any of your additional essays graded is to contact us at customersupport@veritasprep.com. The charge is $15 per essay, once you contact us we will run the charge. Then we'll email the support line with you cc'd on it that you've paid for x amount of essays to be graded.

***Please keep in mind that the AWA is being phased out because admissions doesn't really put much weight on it.

Hope this helps!

Hi Chi,

I just found out about this great AWA tool called GMAT Write that is sold on MBA.com. This tool gives you two unique questions and you have the chance to write 4 essays ( 2 on the analysis of an issue and 2 on analysis of an argument) and have them graded. Here's the link if you are interested:

Happy studying!
