On B: Actually, the word "ultimately" means that he didn't impact the bottom line directly, but that indirectly, he had an effect on it. It's a fine line here, but an important one.
It does, however state pretty directly, in the last paragraph, that corporate anthropology "provides data on behavioral patterns ..., data that are likely to be of interest to others in years to come." This refers to using data from current corporate anthropology studies in the future - i.e. "look at how businesses in the past were structured."
