Why is C not the answer? if C, D are 90 degree then don't we know that a,b also 90?

c and d are each 90 degrees, but, with (1) and (2) we know nothing of a and b. They could each be 90 degrees, but need not be.

VP_Help - can you show me an example where c and d are both 90 degrees and a and b aren't? I guess I don't understand how you cannot come to the conclusion that a and b must be 90 degrees each.

This could occur if opposite sides of the quadrilateral were not equal.
