Hi there,

I would be eternally grateful if someone could explain to me how to take the GMAC Test on my mac. It seems unclear if I have to purchase a license for Windows or if I can just use the free trial? Any guidance here?

Believe it or not, not a single person I know owns a PC I can borrow.

Thank you so much!

Have you tried this?

http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/overview.html

Some people have also tried VirtualPC, but it can be painfully slow if the Mac is underpowered.

I know some people that have the intel Macs actually have both OSx and Windows installed on their Macs since the intel Macs can run Windows. Still means you have to buy the operating system though.

Seems like high-time that developers start paying attention to the growing base of Mac users!

Good luck!

The link to the installation instructions is broken on Veritas. Can you send me installation instructions or post them here please?

Veritas should offer a place for us to take these tests...it puts us at a pretty big disadvantage that we have to spend so much time trying to figure this out! :(

You mean the link above is broken or some other link is broken? I just clicked on the link above and it took me straight to the VMFusion site. Maybe try copying and pasting it?

Here's also a direct link to the 30-day trial version of VMFusion ware.

Let us know if you have any luck with that on the Mac. Other people would be interested in finding out if it's a good PC emulator.

No, I mean when you go to your Practice Tests and you try to use the GMAC tests, it says "Installation Instructions" and then the link is broken.
