This is the first instance that we have heard of reports of malfunctioning timers. The time should update with each subsequent question that you answer. Please also ensure that you have the latest version of Flash installed on your system (Flash 10).
Regarding the issue with the Thomson Petersons exam, can you provide the question number of the question where this occurred along with a short excerpt of the question stem so that we can diagnose the issue.
In the meantime, we suggest that you utilize the 800Score and GMATPrep exams. The GMATPrep exams should give you the best measure of your performance in a test situation.
