Just wondering if anyone has experienced something similar. I've devoted a reasonable amount of time to study, and after taking three practice tests (Veritas and official), I've come out at 690 each time. In each test, I score a little better in one subject at the expense of the other (e.g. 48 Q, 35 V... then 46 Q, 42 V). My exam is tomorrow and at this stage I'm pretty resigned to the fact that my brain clearly only has enough capacity to handle one or the other, not both :x

Anyone else who has experienced this... would be nice to hear from you and how you overcame it. I am hoping it is just a concentration problem and that test-day adrenalin will keep me focused! :)

Hello there,

Well, I cannot speak from experience on this one. You are head and shoulders above me on this one - I am still struggling with the fundamentals.

However, I wanted to say one thing. I have been scouring the "Beat the GMAT" forums, and I have noticed that many were having this problem on practice tests. One guy was only getting a consistent 640 and 650. On test day, he got a 710!!!!

I think the moral of the story is that these tests are just measurements of the actual test. You never know.

I hope to perform as well as you do. You are doing great!
