I have taken the GMAT three times and I consistently score 50-70 points below the scores I receive on Vertias & 800Score CAT's. Moreover, my verbal score has fluctuated by more than 15 whole points (I have scored as high as the 94th percentile on an 800Score Cat) with my three lowest scores all being on the actual GMAT. My quant score has remained consistent and it is a score that I am happy with. I am extremely frustrated and not sure what approach I should take at this point. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks

Well your strategy on improving your verbal depends on what areas you need work on. Have you been keeping track of the types of verbal questions you are missing? Once you do this, you can figure what areas you need to work on (e.g. STOP, Explain the Paradox, etc...).

You can also contact us on the Homework Helpline and we'd be happy to discuss your situation with you.
