 Post subject: scoring o practice tests

i seem to be getting more answers right on my practice tests but my score has fallen 70 points. for example i got 28 right on my last verbal test and got a scaled score of 28. i got 17 right on my 1st test and got a scaled score of 25. how does this happen?

The questions are weighted according to difficulty.
For example, getting a very difficult question right helps your score more than getting an easy question right. By the same token, missing an easy question carries more penalty than missing a difficult one.
