Math isn't my strong suit. I start my class on 11/28 and have been trying to refresh my memory with different prep books including the Veritas ones. One lesson per book seems to be overwhelming. How fast paced is each course? I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up...

Hi,

Welcome to Veritas Prep! Not to worry, many students have felt the way you do about math. We strongly suggest that you complete Lesson Zero–Math Essentials prior to your first class. This lesson is not covered in class, but works wonders to refresh your fundamental math skills. There is a practice test in this book, as well as a corresponding pre-recorded lesson under “Veritas Prep On Demand” in your TrueTrack account.

Here are a few links that may help you with math:

http://www.purplemath.com/
http://www.amazon.com/Short-Cut-Math-Ge ... 808&sr=8-1
(The last link is to a book called Short-Cut Math that was recommended by an instructor.)

Feel free to contact us at headquarters if you have any questions.

Happy studying! :)
