Hi Brooks,
Thank you for choosing Veritas Prep To help you prepare for the GMAT! No worries on the procrastination, now is the perfect time to start preparing!
If you have the time, I would suggest following the same guidelines as our in-person 7 week courses and working through two lessons per week, one verbal and one quant. If you follow the books in numerical order, it will take you through the same course curriculum as the in-person classes. Please be sure you pair your books with the pre-recorded lessons online so that you get the most out of each lesson; those lessons will ensure that the Veritas Prep concepts within each book are clearly explained. Before you begin, first work through Lesson 0 / Math Essentials and take a practice exam so that you can see where your score stands, then proceed as follows:
Week of 1 – Lesson 1 & 2 Week of 2 – Lesson 3 & 4 Week of 3 – Lesson 5 & 6 Week of 4 – Lesson 7 & 8 Week of 5 – Lesson 9 & 10 Week of 6 – Lesson 11 & 12 Week of 7 – Lesson 13 & 14 2-3 Weeks Later - EXAM
There is a tool under the “Practice Test” section of your TrueTrack account that lets you enter in your exam date, and it will calculate when you should take your practice exams – Pair that tool along with the schedule above and you should be good to go! If you feel like you need more or less time before the exam, simply move your lessons up/back a bit as your schedule permits.
REMEMBER – You have unlimited instructor access under the “Support” icon, so if you EVER have a specific practice problem question or advice about general concepts or study tips, you can email an instructor and hear back within 24 hours, or you can call during the phone support hours listed on the right side of the screen.
Hope this helps and please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns, we are here to help!
Thanks and happy studying,
Kori and The Veritas Prep Team
