Hi everyone!

My name is nicholas and I've enrolled in the gmat prep class starting on January 24th in NYC. I'm very curious to see how well i can do on the GMAT 2nd time around. On my first gmat experience i failed miserably on the math section. I havn't taken math in a very long time. After taking the diagnostic test, I am very worried. I'm familiar with the problems but don't remeber how to approach them. I am looking to dive into the veritas math essentials section first, any other recommendations?

Thanks for your help,
Nick

Hi Alex,

Welcome - we're excited to have you! If you ever miss a live online class, you can always access the recording of that live class (in addition to the pre-recorded lessons in your online account). That's one of the great benefits of being a live online student!

In order to access the recordings of your Virtual Veritas Prep classes, please follow these directions:

1. Log into the Elluminate platform.
2. Click on the 'Utilities' tab at the top of the page.
3. Click on the 'Recordings' icon.
4. Set the start date and end date values on the subsequent page to include the dates of the recorded classes you would like to view.
5. Click on 'Show Recorded Session List'
6. A list of recorded sessions will populate at the bottom of the screen.
7. Click on the 'Play' link to start the playback "

Please let me know if you have any other questions or need more information!

Hallie

Hi All,

Nice to meet you my name is Doug in San Diego, CA. Just enrolled in the Online On Demand course. I Would have loved to have taken the more personal approach and attend a live class, but couldn't as I am working full time. I just received my books today and am hoping to jump right in. I am sure I will have tons of questions as I work through the process and wanted to thank the homework help staff in advance!

Good Luck Everyone!

Hello Help Staff,

This is Vivek from Waco, Texas. I registered for Veritas On Demand GMAT prep course. I also gave one free online diagnostic test. I scored Verbal 30 and Quant 41 (overall 590). I gave this exam without any preparation. I am targeting a score of around 730. I wanted to know if I can also get score of AWA for the diagnostic test and some analysis on the areas I would need to improve.

Regards,
Vivek

Hi All

I'm Nat from Australia, enrolled in the On Demand course. I took the GMAT a year ago but with very little prep; did ok on the verbal/writing (40/6) but poorly on the quant (36); this was expected as I find the data sufficiency questions to be utterly baffling. Am hoping that this course will address that specific problem area. Cheers everyone.

Hi!

My name is Pooja and I just enrolled for Live Online class that starts on May 2nd and got an email saying I should introduce myself to our homework staff. So here I am:)
I took the GMAT just recently (April 16, 2011) after preparing for it for 2 weeks only. I did not do very well so thought of taking the Veritas prep class online and I am really hopeful of doing well and increasing my score greatly.

Good luck to everyone!
