Thanks for your email. Sounds like you are quite accomplished for only having 2-3 years WE. The committee at INSEAD will be impressed with the number of publications you have as well as the multi-national consulting experience. I did not see any mention of your undergrad experience, but assuming you went to a top undergrad school and had good marks, I believe your profile is strong and well within what INSEAD is looking for. I think the school choice is wise considering your post MBA goal of remaining in the EU and Asian markets. The key will be in weaving a compelling story which draws the reader in and convinces him or her you are ready for b-school and bring something to the table. Since you would be coming in with a little under the average amount of WE, i think you should focus on the progressive responsibiliy of your positoin and the fact that you have managed sizable projects. REmember the four pillars of a good application are displaying Maturity, Leadership, Innovation and Team skills. I see evidence of all of these in your profile. Many applicants fall short on innovation, but with business consulting, finding a creative solution to complex problems certainly fills this need. Make sure you demonstrate how your experience here will offer value to your classmates. This, along with what I assume is a deep understanding of a broad array of business cultures should help you stand out especially among other applicants without as much travel abroad experience. Let us know how we can help.
