I screwed up my GMAT (500) and am applying to a state school in NYC(Baruch). Their averages are 510-700 for 80% of the applicants. I know that I need to be competitive in my essay to stand a chance.
The school has given a list of 3 questions:
Why a graduate business degree at this time
why our school
How will the school help achieve your personal and professional goals.

My Question is - how can I start the essay?What should be my opening sentence or praragraph.

Wow, that is indeed a tall order with a 500 GMAT. But, never say never!

What you write completely depends on YOU... Unfortunately, without really knowing you, we can't provide concrete feedback on what question you should choose or how to start you essay. If you're really stuck, try asking yourself those three questions, and see which ones leads to an answer that easily flows out of your mouth. (Literally ask yourself out loud, and answer using your own words.) That's a good place to start.
