Hi,

RC has always been my weakest point. I have read the STOP methodology in the RC book however I am having a tough time implementing it.

I think the book also mentions to take notes..does that mean take notes specific to STOP
(When I mention notes I dont intend to say detailed notes)

1) Should I take notes related to STOP for each passage
2) Should I take notes realted to STOP for the whole passage
3) Should I yake notes related to the whole passage and then figure out STOP

I am thoroughly confused therefore it will be great if someone can answer my questions and even better provide a worked out example which may include the kind of notes that we need to take.

Help appreciated.

You should be thinking about STOP as you read the passage. You can take very brief, general notes as you read the passage if this helps you. Your notes (again, very brief) should be about the main ideas of the passage and STOP.
