Hi VP_Help,

The WB explanation for the answer doesn't seem to consider the first "it" in A, B, C as a problem...
I eliminated these choices because of the pronoun - antecedent issue.
Is the usage of "it" correct in A, B and C?

Yes, the use of "it" is fine in these answer choices, and refers to "the war."
