I have been having problems with the sentence corrections lately. I have been practicing using both the Veritas SC book, and the Official (blue) book. It seems that I always get around half of my sentence correction drills wrong. I have been using VAMPIRES but it seems that this is the best that I can do. I have always narrowed it down to two answers, but I always choose the wrong one.

Any suggestions on what to do to improve this?

We need to figure out what's going wrong in those questions where you get down to two choices, and see where the specific errors are. If you'll send these to us from time to time, via the help line (help@veritasprep.com) we can help you decipher them and figure out specifically what makes one right and one wrong. The goal here is that you'll learn to look for patterns and recognize the sneaky little things that the GMAT writers throw into the questions to make them intentionally more difficult.
