In a recent survey of high school athletes in our state, it was determined that an average of one out of every ten high school football players regularly ingests dietary supplements as part of his of her training regimen. Based on this finding, we estimate that eight players on the eighty person football team at lakeside high school are currently in violation of the schools's ban on performance enhancing supplements
A) High school athletes are required to obey sports regulations imposed by their individual shcools B) Most football players feel the need to supplement their training with performance enhancing compounds. C) The use of supplements by members of the lakeside high school football team reflects the state average D) The number of players on the lakeside high school football team is the same as the number on teams of other state high schools
Choice C is marked as correct, but choice C assumes that all dietary supplements taken by football players are performance enhancing supplements, so therefore I disagree. I believe the answer requires a combination of choice B and C.
