Under "Negative" the square of oppositions reads "No widgets are red" as being the negative of "All widgets are red". Could you also think of it as "All widgets are not red?" is that saying the same thing? As in, the opposite of Hot is Not Hot.

Yes. The two statements

"No widgets are red"

and

"All widgets are not red".

are logically equivalent.
