What is the GCF of positive integers X and Y?

(1) X and Y share only one common factor
(2) X and Y are non-equal prime numbers

First post, I assume I don't need to put the answer choices as they are the same for all DS.

All integers share at LEAST one common factor: 1.
If they share ONLY one common factor, then it MUST be 1.
If they are prime numbers, then they can share only one factor, and that prime factor must be 1.
Thus, the answer on this one must be D.

Take 2 and 3 for example. The greatest common factor is 1, since they share no other factors.
Any two numbers (integers) will share 1 as a common factor, since 1 is a factor of ALL integers.

Hope this helps,
