A bicyclist's wheel has a circumference of x meters. If the bicyclist covers y meters in t hours at a constant speed, how many rotations does the wheel make an hour at that speed?

Answer: y/xt

I don't understand why the answer is not E (x/yt)

Please help!

y/t meters/hr

y/t meters/hr * 1 hr = y/t meters in 1 hour

(y/t)/x = y/(tx) rotations in one hour (divide the total distance by the circumference of the tire)
