Problem 24 Lesson 2:Arithmetics

It says that bus 2 goes from downtown to uptown in 2-2/3 that is equivalent to 2:40 so if the bus leaves at 8:40 it is supposed that arrives at 11:00. Is the answer ok?

Bus 2 -- 8 minute wait from 9:02
9:10
9:50

Bus3 -- 10 minute wait from 9:50

total wait time = 18 minutes

What I don´t understand the first line in the chart. In Bus 2 How he passed from the time the bus leaved to the time it arrived. If it last for 2-2/3 hours. 2-2/3=120 min + 2*60/3=120min + 40min=2hours:40mins? In the answer bus 2 trajectory lasts 40 min?

per the problem

he is on bus 1 for 1 1/5 hour (72 minutes)

and

he is on bus 2 for 2/3 hour (40 minutes)
