If a circle has an area of 81 pi, what is its area?

The answer is 18. But I got 18 pi as an answer. The formula i used: A = Xsquare/4pi. And I plugged the 18pi.

Also how come veritas dont provide explanation to why the answer is the way it is? It's really frustrating to email my questions all the time.

The problem asks for the longest chord, which is the diameter.
If the area is 81pi, then the radius is 9, and the diameter is 18.

The books following the Math Essentials book DO provide explanations to the solutions.
