In the solution it says we have the algebraic problem x = (y/100)*z. I'm not sure why this is escaping me... but I don't see how how do we manipulate the problem to read z/x = 100/y as mentioned in the solution? Thanks!

x = (y/100) * z, since y is a percentage

from (1)

z/x = 0.8

z = 0.8 * x

x = 1/(0.8) * z

so y/100 = (1/0.8)

y = 100/0.8

from (2)

x - (20/100)x = z

(80/100)x = z

x = (100/80)z

so y/100 = 100/80

y = 100/.8
