I am curious about this question:
4(3x+2y-18)+16x-3y+14=

I keep getting:
12x+8y-76+16x-3y+14=
(12x+16x)+(8y-3y)+(-76+14)=
28x+5y-62

But the answer is:
28x+5y-58??

How am I getting the wrong number? I'm hoping this is a misprint. Help!

It also looks like further down on this page it says to "Solve for x," but you actually end up solving for "y" on #7. These instructions should probably be updated. :)

4(3x+2y-18)+16x-3y+14=

12x + 8y - 72 + 16x - 3y + 14 =

28x + 5y - 58 = .... it is -58 because -72 + 14 = - 58
