Determine the value of x as specifically as possible.

0>x and -1/x>17

The answer says: -1/17<x<0

I can not find this answer algebraically and even thinking about it logically it doesn't seem to make sense. I keep getting -1/17>x. Anyone understand this one??

I know it's been a few months since this was originally posted, but the problem hinges on the fact that x < 0 (i.e. it is negative).

Multiplying by x to isolate it requires multiplication by a negative number and thus changing the sign of the inequality.

Hope that helps.
