The formula given is N! / K !

Is this related to the original permutations formula, N! / (N - r )! ?

If so, how do you work it out to get N! / K! ?

Or is N! / K! just a separate formula to memorize?

For the purposes of the GMAT, it is best to just memorize the formula on page 17 of the Combinatorics and Probability text.
