Could you derive (s^2*SquareRTof3)/4 formula for me?

Sides are s, s, and s

A = 1/2 * s * h, so we need to find h

split the triangle down the middle into two 30-60-90 triangles.

The height of the main triangle is the side opposite the 60 degree angle in one of the 30-60-90's

applying the 1, sqrt(3), 2 rule, this side will be sqrt(3)/2 * s (s is the hypotenuse of a 30-60-90 here)

so, the area of the main triangle is (1/2)s * sqrt(3)/2 * s
