My main question is whether I should I pursue a distance learning MS in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Embry-Riddle? I will continue to work full time, but I want to know that if my goal is an MBA, will this help my application? Or hurt it? I am thinking it will help it. My profile is the following:

BS in Aerospace Engineering
BS in Economics
Minor in Entrepreneurship
All three from Penn State

GMAT: 740 (took 5 times)
Job: SI analyst with ACN
Was president of Sigma Gamma Tau (National Aerospace Honors Society) at PSU
Interned at NASA KSC
Interned in Dalian China at an engineering firm
Interned with Accenture in Philly
Full time with Accenture in Pittsburgh (1.5 years full time to date)

Please help me decide my candidacy to top tier business schools and if going for the MS degree is a good idea (I think the MS will help me in my current role and I just like to learn)

Thanks

This could potentially hurt your application to MBA programs. Many MBA programs view MIM and similar degrees as "MBA" equivalent, and therefore would either question your judgment in doing that degree or wondering why you cannot simply achieve your career goals with that degree. With a GMAT and profile like yours, you should focus on going ahead and committing to an MBA program.

Colin I am not as familiar with the distance programs other than Duke Cross Continent and Kellogg has one too I believe. They are becoming more popular now, though so probably more out there that are reputable.
