The MBA admissions process is arduous. If you are going to spend dozens of hours on each application, it pays to learn how to market yourself effectively.

Most clients devote between 30-60 hours of their own time to each application.
As soon as you register, you will be asked to fill out an Applicant Analysis Form online, which generally takes about an hour to complete. Once you submit the Applicant Analysis Form, your Head Consultant will contact you within four business days to schedule your Diagnostic Session. On the very first call you will learn specific, actionable advice and develop a roadmap for admissions success.

A $350.00 ($350.00 CAN, £350.00 GBP) administrative fee is included in the price of all Hourly Admissions Consulting engagements, and is nonrefundable. If a client decides to cancel the consulting service after the Initial Consultation, the client will be refunded in full, less the $350.00 ($350.00 CAN, £350.00 GBP) fee. Clients seeking a refund after moving forward with an hourly package are responsible for paying the $350.00 ($350.00 CAN, £350.00 GBP) fee as well as all time spent by the consultant following the Initial Consultation, at the Hourly Admissions Consulting rate. There are no refunds available for the first 3 hours of hourly admissions consulting packages.
Clients seeking a refund after moving forward with a comprehensive package, but before a Personalized MBA Game Plan™ is generated, are responsible for paying the $350.00 ($350.00 CAN, £350.00 GBP) fee as well as all time spent by the consultant following the Initial Consultation, at the Hourly Admissions Consulting rate. Clients wishing to cancel after production of the Personalized MBA Game Plan™, but prior to the initiation of any additional consulting work connected to the first school in the comprehensive package, are eligible for a 50% refund. Clients wishing to cancel any multi-school package (2-School Package or greater) or downgrade to a multi-school package comprised of fewer schools after initiating the first draft of any essay within an application essay set for the first school will be eligible to receive a refund on the unused schools. Clients wishing to cancel a 1-School Package after initiating the first draft of any essay within an application essay set will not be eligible for a refund. Clients wishing to change from a comprehensive package to an hourly package will have their request treated as a cancellation and will be subject to the refund terms stated within this policy.
Clients receiving essay and resume editing services are not eligible for a refund.
If a customer cancels an individual component of an Elite Package before starting to use that portion of the package, Veritas Prep will refund the difference between the Elite Package price and the a la carte price of the non-cancelled component(s), less a $100.00 ($100.00 CAN, £100.00 GBP) cancellation fee.
Consulting registrations are non-transferable.

With comprehensive school packages, we do not count hours. So there is no preset limit to the time your personalized admissions team will spend helping you develop the best possible application for each school. Typically, the Veritas Prep team will work 15-20 hours on a 1-school package, 20-30 hours on a 2-school package, and 30-40 hours on a 3-School Package.These packages are the ideal choice for applicants who seek comprehensive help on each part of their application.
If you start with a Diagnostic Session in order to refine your MBA goals, you can easily upgrade to a comprehensive school package by simply paying the difference between the two services.
Clients may add additional schools at $1500 per school. Additionally, if the client has an hourly admissions consulting package she may upgrade to a comprehensive package at any time by simply paying the difference between the two services.

HOURLY PACKAGES
- When should I choose an hourly package?

The hourly package is designed for students who only need help on one aspect of their application. However, if the student needs help on more than one aspect, then we highly recommend a comprehensive school package.
Additionally, you should opt for an hourly package if you want maximum flexibility in your admissions consulting process as you may use the hours however you wish. Hourly packages will allow you to focus on any part of the application for any school.
Clients select 3 hours when they seek comprehensive assistance on one application component, such as an essay or interview assistance. The 3-hour A La Carte package is also a great option for candidates simply looking to have an expert evaluate their overall application.
Clients select the 7-hour package when they seek assistance in more than one area, such as multiple essays or various application components. The 7-hour Starter Kit is also the preferred package for candidates who are still a year or more away from applying, but wish to get a head start by having a consultant evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, develop their Personalized Marketing Plan, and recommend actionable steps to improve their candidacy for the future.
A 12-hour package allows you to work with a consultant to evaluate and edit your essays, optimize your letters of recommendation, and prepare for the evaluative interview for one school. Some clients choose the 12-hour package for comprehensive essay assistance on multiple school applications.
Clients select 20 hours when they seek comprehensive assistance for two schools. Twenty hours allows enough to time to for us to help you develop your Personalized Marketing Plan, evaluate and edit your essays, optimize your letters of recommendation, and prepare for the evaluative interview for two programs. Other clients choose 20 hours if they seek limited assistance, usually essay editing or interview prep only, for several schools.
Clients who think they will need more than 20 hours are better off choosing one of the school packages.
If, after starting your admissions consulting, you discover that you will need additional time, you may add as many additional hours as you need.

The essay and resume editing services are for those who are further along with the applications process and already have a solid plan of attack for their schools. These services offer a set of expert eyes to edit and evaluate essays and resumes and make suggestions pertaining to grammar, structure, diction and suggestions on content.
If, however, you are just getting started with the application process and are unsure about how to approach it, then an hourly or comprehensive school package would be more appropriate.

Clients submitting manuscripts, research papers, or other writing samples that fall outside of the parameters of a personal statement or essay should use Veritas Prep's hourly consulting to get focused, tailored assistance.
As the name of the service would indicate, the AMCAS personal statement evaluation is ideal for medical school applicants who are in the initial stage of the application process, working on the AMCAS application, which uses a personal statement applicable to all of the schools to which the candidate is applying.
The essay evaluation service is ideal for clients who have moved on to the supplement essay stage of the admissions process. Whether the medical school in question sends out supplemental applications to all of its students or to a selected group, the crucial next stage of the process will hinge on the applicant's ability to the shift from a more general AMCAS personal statement approach to writing more specific essays that are tailored to individual medical schools.
Candidates in need of more comprehensive assistance, including school selection or overall application strategy, can use our hourly consulting services to build a package that suits their needs. All of our medical school consultants are trained and experienced in all aspects of the admissions process and can help a client go from start-to-finish with their applications. Applying to medical school is a lengthy process that starts in the early summer with the AMCAS application, which typically requires between 20 and 30 hours of work. From there, it is a process of completing supplemental applications for each individual school, going to Interview Days, and then, ultimately, deciding which school to attend. It can last an entire year. That is why it is important for clients to identify where they need the most help, so they can get premium assistance from our elite consultants and make the hardest tasks easier.

The Law School Game Plan is the most transformative document that you will receive from your consultant. An applicant armed with a self-awareness that hews more closely to the admissions committee's perception has an advantage over the competition.
Our admissions consultants have the experience, skills, and perspective necessary to see an applicant in a way that closely resembles a law school admissions officer. As a result, the consultant is uniquely situated to provide you with an objective evaluation that highlights strengths, weaknesses, and differentiating factors.
You will undoubtedly apply to a variety of programs to which you have varying chances of gaining admission. You should select a school that offers the greatest fit and to which you have a realistic chance of gaining admission. While the work you do with your consultant will be transferable to your other applications, there is still a great deal of specific insight that comes from working with an expert from a particular program. Selecting a reach school or a safety school may not give you the most value. Try to identify a "target school" that represents the best you can achieve, within a realistic framework.

Veritas Prep's law school consultants will help you with a specific application but will also help you improve your writing, research, analysis, and presentation skills along the way, which enables you to carry over your success onto other applications.
That said, many applicants are so comfortable with their admissions consultants that they seek further assistance with other programs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
The Admissions Brief is the most comprehensive package Veritas Prep offers and it takes applicants from start to finish on an entire application of their choice. You receive one-on-one mentorship and assistance from an expert of your selected program.
Most clients devote between 20 and 30 hours of their own time to their first application. Significantly less time is required for each application thereafter, provided you have the skills, insight, and initial materials to attack each application with confidence.
As soon as you register, we will send you our Client Questionnaire, which generally takes 1-3 hours to complete. Once you return the Client Questionnaire, you can expect a 72-hour turnaround for the admissions consultant to contact you for your Diagnostic Session. During this initial conversation, you will get to know your consultant, work through your current application plan, learn actionable and specific advice, and develop a roadmap for achieving admissions success. The Veritas Prep law school consulting team will keep you informed and connected every step of the way!
The $200.00 deposit included in the price of all Admissions Consulting Packages is non-refundable. If you do not wish to move forward with the consulting service after the Diagnostic Session, you will be refunded in full, less the deposit. The choice of which service to use depends on the parameters of the application. If the school to which you are applying calls for a personal statement or "statement of purpose," then you are likely dealing with an open-ended prompt that will require a particular approach. The Veritas Prep evaluators who work on personal statements are all law school graduates equipped with a unique understanding of how to take the best and most unique aspects of a candidate's story and merge them with the traits that the graduate school admissions committee is seeking.
Essay evaluation is the choice for any application that includes prompted questions or specific writing samples. Crafting an essay is a different exercise from writing a great personal statement in that you have to really answer the question being asked, as well as the unasked questions along the way.
