Lesson Zero: Math Essentials
This independent-study pre-lesson will cover fundamental skills and definitions that students must know for the GMAT, and that they will build upon throughout the Veritas Prep course. With step-by-step demonstrations and isolated-skill drills, the Math Essentials lesson will thoroughly teach and/or review the crucial basic skills that must be second-nature for students to succeed on the exam. A pre-test and post-test will assist students in prioritizing their time effectively through this comprehensive lesson.

Lesson One: Arguments
Lesson One not only introduces students to the GMAT, it also establishes the framework for the entire Veritas Prep GMAT Course. Students learn about GMAT Logic. After just one day, Veritas Prep students leave far better equipped for the GMAT than when they began.

Lesson Two: Arithmetic
The introductory lesson to the Quantitative portion of the GMAT builds on the basic skills covered in the Math Essentials lesson, and demonstrates the advanced applications of percents, fractions, ratios, and number properties. The Arithmetic lesson emphasizes the quick and efficient calculation of numbers, the recognition of common question types that require strategic calculation or analysis, and the avoidance of frequent errors upon which the test preys.

Lesson Three: Critical Reasoning 1
Veritas Prep students learn that all Critical Reasoning problems fall into distinct and identifiable categories. SWIMMER™, a potent and proprietary method developed by Veritas Prep, allows students to properly identify and solve the GMAT's logical puzzles with speed and skill.

Lesson Four: Algebra
Algebra is another lesson designed to facilitate the efficient and accurate application of important fundamentals. In this lesson alone, students learn methods applicable to more than half of all the quantitative problems on the GMAT. Students learn how to solve equalities and inequalities with multiple variables and multiple solutions, quadratic equations, exponents, and roots.

Lesson Five: Sentence Correction 1
Lesson Five introduces students to Sentence Correction problems and the areas of grammar typically tested. Veritas Prep students also learn VAMPIRES™, a tool that allows them to focus on the most common Sentence Correction errors. Sentence Correction 1 includes grammar drills, explanations, dozens of practice problems, and strategies to quickly identify and correct the typical VAMPIRES errors without spending time and energy on less-important grammatical devices.

Lesson Six: Geometry
The Geometry lesson is the last of the fundamental quantitative lessons. It covers everything examinees need to know about geometry for the GMAT, including lines, angles, triangles, circles, quadrilaterals, volumes and coordinate planes, with a focus on the ability to quickly recognize and deploy the narrow scope of testable skills featured on the GMAT.

Lesson Seven: Reading Comprehension
It is never too late to become an adroit reader, and the Reading Comprehension lesson shows how. Veritas Prep has made it easier by categorizing all of the passages into three groups and providing a distinctive strategy, STOP™, for each of those groups. Veritas Prep students become active readers, demonstrating a purposefulness that others may lack.

Lesson Eight: Data Sufficiency
Data Sufficiency requires students to learn an entirely new approach to quantitative analysis. Veritas Prep teaches an extremely efficient methodology to attack these problems. In class, students go over drills with the instructor in an interactive format and learn the most effective way to solve a wide variety of different types of Data Sufficiency problems.

Lesson Nine: Critical Reasoning 2
Critical Reasoning 2 delves into complex GMAT logic and the advanced application of SWIMMER question categories. Students build on the concepts presented in Arguments and Critical Reasoning 1, pitting their skills against the most challenging Critical Reasoning questions available. Veritas Prep engineered its advanced Critical Reasoning methods for those students who seek a score in the 99th percentile on the verbal section of the GMAT.

Lesson Ten: Statistics and Problem Solving
Veritas Prep students learn both general and specific approaches to Problem Solving questions. Students learn when it is appropriate to fully solve problems, when to use shortcuts, and when to plug in numbers. Furthermore, students learn how to effectively translate rate problems, work problems, mixture problems, measurement problems, and more, into easily solvable algebraic equations. The Problem Solving lesson explains how to handle interest rate problems and basic statistics like mean, median, mode, and standard deviation.

Lesson Eleven: Sentence Correction 2
This lesson builds on the foundation developed in Sentence Correction 1. Students hone their skills at error recognition and the mastery of advanced VAMPIRES question devices. Students will also gain a more thorough understanding of the frequently-occurring idiomatic errors on the GMAT, clarifying an often-murky set of errors. Sentence Correction 2 includes advanced grammar drills, explanations, and dozens of practice problems.

Lesson Twelve: Combinatorics and Probability
Advanced statistics and probability have grown increasingly more common on the GMAT. Veritas Prep is the only major test prep provider that devotes an entire lesson to this topical subject. Students will learn about probabilities and combinatoric methods including permutations, combinations, and factorials. The Veritas Prep GMAT Guide on advanced math, project GMAT, is the ideal companion piece to this lesson.

Lesson Thirteen: Analytical Writing Assessment and Verbal Review
This lesson provides a complete game plan for Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) success and introduces students to the Veritas Prep AWA Template™ and Veritas Prep AWA Support Matrix™. The AWA lesson also includes the entire list of possible GMAT AWA essay topics and ample time for a complete verbal review.

Lesson Fourteen: Advanced Word Problems and Quantitative Review
Students review the most important mathematical concepts and methods, ensuring that they have mastered them before they take the GMAT. In addition, students work with advanced variations of word problems, learning how to prioritize important information and efficiently apply fundamental skills to the exam's most time-consuming questions. Finally, instructors share final study schedule and test day strategies to ensure that students optimize their performance.
